James T. Clancy, born on October 22, 1964, died suddenly on November 1, 2005. James was a parishioner of of St. Catharine's Church and a Past Grand Knight of the St. Dominic's Council of the Knights of Columbus, both in Blauvelt, NY. He was the co-proprietor of the Porch Bar and Grill in Orangeburg, NY. James was 1982 graduate of Tappan Zee High School and also attended Dominican College in Orangeburg. Many will remember James' hospitality while working in the bar/restaurant business for many years. He will also be remembered for his love of the NY Mets, NY Jets and mostly the NY Rangers. James was predeceased by his mother, Catherine (Sis) Clancy. Surviving members of the Clancy family include his father, Peter of Orangeburg, NY; his brothers, John and his wife Carla of Orangeburg, NY, PJ and his wife Cathy of Pearl River, NY and Kevin and his wife Jean of Sparkill, NY; his sisters, Mariann McKallen and her husband Stephen of Riverdale, NY and Catherine Tracey and her husband Frankie of Orangeburg, NY. He was the devoted uncle of Catherine and Christina Tracey, Bridget, Peter and Timothy Clancy and Kevin and Megan Clancy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 9 am, at St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt with burial to follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY.
